A quick one – At the high recommendation of one of the baristas of Everyman Espresso, I took a swing by Arcade Bakery down in the Financial District. Honestly, I have no idea how anyone could have spotted this place, since it’s so secluded in the heart of one of the old-school vaulted bank buildings; I’m glad that I was pointed to this place though, because the food here is face-meltingly good. Croissants that have both crispy outsides and a chewy core, with some well-balanced cinnamon sugar. You really can’t go wrong.
